NEWS- I am Trying Van Life?!

Life update!

After an incredibly busy year, my husband and I have decided to slow down, and completely change our lifestyle. We are swapping out our two-bedroom house for a four-wheeled van.

Everyone, meet Cosmo! She is a vintage Ford Airstream class B RV, and we went through ALOT to get her. It felt like God and The universe led us to her, and the second we stepped inside, we knew she would be our new home. Indy and I had looked at hundreds of vehicles online and traveled to many places to look at around 7 in person. We had made an offer on a short bus that was accepted and then fell through, and driven more than we would ever want to in one day to find our home on wheels. Even a few tears were shed during this process. But low and Behold, on June 4th, 2023, at around 1:30, We stepped inside of Cosmo.

Cosmo is fully equipped with a queen size bed and twin pull out sofa. She has a 4 burner stove, oven, microwave, and working sink. She even has a toilet and a tiny shower! Most importantly she has AC and Heating capabilities, which is a must for me.

We didn't think we wanted an RV at first. We really thought we were going to build out our own van for a while.However we both work full time, and didn't want to spend over a year on the build out. Then we started looking at partially built vans and busses.

But there was something about this airstream that excited me so much the second I saw it. She has charm and character.

We have had a few months to make small renovations to our tiny home, as well as sell most of our possessions. We were also prepping our actual house to be put on the market to rent, charting a course for our first few months, finding remote jobs, and squeezing in as much friends and family time as possible! After many months of prep, I am happy to say that we leave on January 25th!!

Will I still be performing?

Yes I still plan to take possible a contract or two on the road. But I will primarily be focusing on teaching while on the road. I have acquired a few zoom students, and will be taking more shortly. I Love the arts but it is also a very draining career. This year I am going to be focusing on my personal life, and attempting to hit as many bucket list locations as possible! This also gives me a chance to connect to some theaters outside of south Florida, which has not been possible since I moved back to the states.
